Day 366
For a year and a day, we've sailed west. A year and a day of storms, silence, empty ocean, and trying not to start killing each other as all the habits that everyone has start becoming larger and more irritating.
Then, this morning, almost as if we dreamed it, a smudge of clear, pale green on the horizon. Too pale for us to have gotten turned around, too green to have circled to what we know as the other side of the world. A smudge of pale green on the horizon, and with it the promise of something entirely new.
